Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting young learners in a vibrant early childhood center-based program, working with students aged 2½ to 3 years. This contract opportunity runs from early September to early December 2026, offering weekday shifts from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. As a key educator, you will help students thrive in developmental milestones, classroom routines, and social skills, all while gaining invaluable school-based experience in an encouraging environment. What we're seeking: Individuals who meet Minnesota's Highly Qualified Paraprofessional standards by either: Passing the MN Para Educator Exam (documentation required) Completing at least 60 college credits (official transcripts required) Experience working with preschool-aged children or in school settings is highly valued Strong communication skills and a patient, positive approach Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to student growth What you'll do: Assist certified teaching staff with daily classroom activities and individualized support Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere for students at critical developmental stages Encourage emerging social, emotional, and physical skills through hands-on activities Implement and reinforce classroom routines and behavior expectations Communicate with teachers and families as needed to support overall student progress Enjoy the benefits of a consistent weekday schedule and the chance to develop lasting professional skills alongside experienced educators.
