It is our vision to create a place where all children are free to grow and learn at their own pace. Our program is purposely flexible as we value environments that support playful learning. This allows our teachers to consider each child's individual needs and meet them where they are at developmentally and emotionally. The Educational Philosophy of the program is based in developmentally appropriate practice and grounded in the theory that children learn best through play. FCDC uses The Creative Curriculum, which is a research based curriculum that provides the framework for creating developmentally appropriate programming.
