Key Qualifications:

Active Substitute or Paraprofessional certification from DESE (must be active before start) Experience working in schools, particularly with students requiring behavioral support and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) Ability to perform toileting and personal care as needed Willingness to undergo fingerprinting specific to the school district Comfortable in 1:1 or classroom aide roles Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

Cover absences via call outs through the Spindle app, selecting available shifts that fit your schedule Support students with special needs, including behavioral interventions Assist in classroom management and instruction under the direction of special education teachers Maintain a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning

Schedule & Location:

Based in Blue Springs, Missouri, serving a district with 33 schools Variable hours depending on school level: Middle school: 7:00 AM•2:30 PM High school: 7:30 AM•3:00

PM Elementary:
