Job Description
Introductory Biology:
From Molecules to Organisms, a required course for Biology and Biochemistry & Biotechnology majors. Additional courses will include General Biology or General Microbiology for our Pre-Nursing students and general education students. Senior undergraduate/graduate-level elective courses will be added based on applicant expertise and department need. Teaching will involve lecture and laboratory sections, as well as mentoring of graduate teaching assistants. Some evening teaching is to be expected. Optional summer teaching is possible. The successful candidate also will participate in advising of undergraduate Biology majors and serving on departmental committees. Applications will be reviewed beginning 5/1/2026 but will be accepted until the position is filled. Qualifications A Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline is required. Previous teaching experience and/or relevant post-doctoral experience are desirable.
