Header Duties Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior. Support classroom management strategies and behavior management best practices. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR protocols. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through updates and meetings. Collaborate with teaching staff to develop individualized plans for children with disabilities or special needs, including those requiring special education or Montessori approaches. Assist with administrative tasks such as tracking attendance Header Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies such as Montessori or preschool curricula. Experience working with children in classroom settings, including those with disabilities or special needs. Proficiency in classroom management techniques that foster positive behavior and engagement. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and team collaboration. Knowledge of educational compliance standards like ESSA and familiarity with childcare regulations. Ability to supervise children safely while demonstrating patience and mentoring qualities.
