Part-time; 9-month positions Estimated 4.25 to 6 hours/day (a.m./p.m. split shift - estimated hours from 6:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.)
Salary:
$18.34/hour

Are you looking for a flexible, part time position that has full Benefits? This job is it! Be a Special Education Bus Assistant! Work the same schedule as your kids/grandkids (Weekends, Summers, Major Holidays off!). Join the Billings Public Schools team assisting Special Needs students during their bus rides to and from school! Assist in providing safe bus transportation for students with special needs Perform physical duties such as managing wheelchairs and special equipment that accompanies students; bending, lifting, pulling Must be able to work with highly behavioral or medically fragile students Perform necessary first aid , CPR or suctioning to care for any short-term emergency problems Handle conflicts or physical situations between students Work a split shift and have reliable transportation Excellent communication skills and the ability to get along with staff, co-workers, children and parents
