RESPONSIBILITIES AND PURPOSE OF THE INSTRUCTIONAL AIDE

The primary purpose of the Instructional Aide is to assist the Teacher in the implementation of the multi-sensory curriculum; establish effective rapport with students; motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for elementary education in accordance with each student's ability; to establish good relationships with parents and other staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with teacher collaboratively in classroom. Experience working with students with learning disabilities. Will require fingerprinting and background check. High school diploma or Equivalent.

COMPENSATION

As a consideration for all services to be rendered, the School shall compensate the Instructional Aide as follows: a. Hourly wage $22.50 to 23.50(DOE) for up to 32 hours per week from August 3, 2026 until May 31, 2027. Hours are M-Th from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm. b.

HEALTH INSURANCE

Cottonwood Day School shall pay fifty (50) percent of the single insurance cost required to make such health benefits available. Effective Jan 1, 2017, the School shall pay 50% of the single health insurance premiums for full-time employees. Employee is responsible to cover 100% of the costs of spouse and children should they elect that coverage.
