Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in their educational journey. This role involves working closely with teachers and students in a early education setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children ensuring that each student receives the guidance and support they need to thrive academically and socially. Duties Assist the teacher with classroom activities and instruction in a positive and engaging manner Support students with special education needs through individualized or small group assistance Help reinforce positive classroom behavior and routines Provide one-on-one or small group support for students needing additional help Maintain open and respectful communication with the teacher and other staff members Supervise students during non-classroom times such as playtime, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and active engagement Participate in bus duty to help ensure safe arrival and dismissal of students Skills Ability to support a nurturing atmosphere for learning while providing individualized support.
