Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our educational team to work 3pm-6pm Monda-Friday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to implement engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of each child. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning through play and exploration. Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring a safe and organized environment conducive to learning. Provide toddler care by attending to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child. Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's growth and address any concerns regarding their development. Incorporate special education strategies when necessary to accommodate diverse learning needs. Engage in continuous curriculum development to enhance educational experiences based on current best practices in early childhood education. Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development in accordance with school policies. Requirements NCECC is preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in classroom management and lesson planning is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required. A genuine love for working with young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
