Monitor children's behavior using positive behavior management techniques to support a respectful and inclusive environment. Maintain detailed records of children's progress, daily activities, and any incidents or concerns to ensure effective communication with parents and team members. Collaborate with colleagues to plan educational programs that align with childhood development standards and special education needs when applicable. Ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently; administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and classroom management strategies. Experience working with children in daycare settings, preschool environments, or as a nanny or babysitter. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs using inclusive teaching methods. Certified in first aid and CPR; familiarity with emergency response procedures or willingness to obtain. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members clearly and positively. Demonstrated patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities essential for caregiving roles. Proficient in behavior management techniques that foster respectful interactions and positive social skills.
