Preschool Teacher Assistant (TEMPORARY) Blue River Early Learning Academy (BRELA) - Crete, NE The Blue River Early Learning Academy (BRELA) is seeking a temporary Preschool Teacher Assistant who is interested in working through December. This position has the potential to become a permanent position depending on agency needs at that time. If you are passionate about early childhood education and helping young children learn through play, and if you enjoy working with preschoolers and contributing to a positive, engaging classroom environment, we would love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Support the lead teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate, play-based learning activities Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Assist with child assessments and documentation Foster a classroom environment that encourages family engagement and community partnerships Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive classroom environment Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Must possess or be willing to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) or other qualifying early childhood credential as required by BVCA Children Services conditions of employment Schedule Full-Time - 36 hours per week Monday-Friday Off during the summer (approximately mid-May through mid-August)
