Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori curriculum and lesson plans across various subjects including literacy, math, science, and practical life skills. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment conducive to focused learning and respectful behavior. Engage with children during activities, encouraging exploration, independence, and social interaction while ensuring safety at all times. Help prepare classroom materials, organize learning stations, and ensure all resources are accessible and well-maintained. Collaborate with teachers to observe student progress, document developmental milestones, and tailor support strategies accordingly. Facilitate communication with parents regarding their child's progress and classroom activities in a professional manner. Assist in managing classroom routines such as snack time, transitions, and outdoor play to promote smooth daily operations. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, preferably within early childhood or preschool environments. Knowledge of Montessori methods and childhood development principles is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and behavior management techniques. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team while also demonstrating initiative independently. Technical proficiency in using educational tools or classroom management software is a plus. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners including those with disabilities or special needs such as autism.
