A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Twos Assistant Teacher
- Up to $18 per hour, PLUS 50% childcare discount!
Duties:
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children
- Foster social and emotional growth through positive reinforcement and guidance
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum one year experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is required
- CDA or degree in early childhood preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and ability to ensure the safety of all children in the classroom We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
