Experience supporting students as a paraprofessional, especially in a high school setting Ability to offer calm, positive emotional support and companionship Reliability and punctualityessential for scheduled bus travel and on-site work Flexibility in providing both academic help (particularly in History) and general encouragement Strong communication skills for interacting with students, educators, and internship staff Collaborative spirit and readiness to support evolving student needs Candidates must be able to begin immediately with district-provided Vector training

Your Day-to-Day Role:

Clock in at the base location each morning, accompanying the student on the district bus to Impact Academy in Doverserve as a steady, positive presence during transit and throughout the academy day Help with academic coursework in the afternoons back at the high school, focusing primarily on History On Fridays, accompany the student to a 5-hour car detailing internship, offering encouragement and assistance as needed Flexibility to remain at the high school to support additional tasks if the student does not require direct support that day This is a full-time contract position, providing the chance to make a meaningful difference while developing strong paraprofessional skills.
