Immaculate Conception School (ICS) is seeking a loving, patient, and dedicated Preschool Teacher Assistant to support our youngest learners in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. Our preschool program lays the foundation for a lifetime of faith, curiosity, and kindness. The Teacher Assistant works hand-in-hand with our lead teachers to create a joyful space where children are safe, supported, and inspired to explore God's world.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the lead preschool teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate, faith-integrated activities Support the social-emotional and behavioral growth of students through the Responsive Classroom approach and gentle guidance Help students with daily routines including arrival, snack, bathroom breaks, and transitions between activities Provide loving supervision and interaction during indoor and outdoor play Model patience, empathy, and Gospel values in all student interactions Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment Collaborate with the preschool team and contribute to a joyful, mission-driven school culture Participate in special events and activities that build community and celebrate learning

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; associate's degree or CDA preferred Experience working with young children in a school, daycare, or parish setting A kind, calm, and flexible demeanor with strong communication skills Passion for early childhood development and Catholic education Practicing Catholic or supportive of the mission and values of ICS Why Join ICS?
