Our regular hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. At Crawlers 2 Scholars, our focus is on developing the whole child in a loving, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. About the Position We are looking for a warm, dependable, and enthusiastic part-time team member to join us during our afternoon hours. The position is Monday through Friday, with hours generally between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Actual scheduled hours may vary based on the needs of the center. Consistent five-day availability is strongly preferred. We are especially interested in candidates who are looking for a dependable afternoon position and can commit to a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing attentive supervision and ensuring the safety, well-being, and personal care of children Assisting teachers with classroom management and daily routines Assisting with the implementation of lesson plans in accordance with the C2S curriculum Engaging children in age-appropriate learning activities, play, and experiences Supporting afternoon transitions, including snack, classroom activities, outdoor play, and dismissal Maintaining a clean, organized, welcoming classroom environment Assisting with classroom and facility upkeep, including bulletin boards, classroom materials, and playground areas Following C2S policies and all applicable New Jersey childcare licensing requirements Working collaboratively with teachers and Administration to support the needs of the children and center Qualifications The ideal candidate is a warm, nurturing, responsible, and dependable individual who genuinely enjoys working with children.
