Job Description
Reports to the Assistant Director of Workforce Development Operations; Provides instruction for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy programs as directed and uses effective teaching methods Responsible for monitoring and submitting daily sign-in sheets and other required forms in support of the program and documenting the progress of the students Performs related duties as assigned Must hold a current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification (C?M?) as well as a Phlebotomy certification (CPT). Minimum of three years of experience working in the field as a CCMA and have hands on experience in the following areas for at least 3 years or more:
- Vitals
- EKG's
- Injections (Intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal),
- Blood Specimen Collection (urine and other lab samples)
- Infection Control and Aseptic Technique.
