In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster developmental growth, encourage curiosity, and promote positive behavior among students. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive caregiving and positive interaction Help manage classroom activities, transitions, and routines to ensure a smooth and organized day Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive participation Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment by following health and safety protocols Support with diapering, feeding, nap time, and other childcare duties for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behavior Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and positive behavior management techniques Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic educational environment Passion for working with children and supporting their growth through nurturing care and engaging activities Join us as a Teacher Assistant to help shape young minds while developing your skills in early childhood education. Pay:
