Pay:
Starting at $16.67 per hour , with higher starting pay available based on experience, education, and qualifications. Make a Difference Every Day Busy Bees of Palisade is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Teacher Assistant to join our Explorer Bees classroom, serving children ages 3 to 4 years old. Responsibilities Support the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. Build meaningful relationships with children and their families. Assist with implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities using Creative Curriculum. Encourage children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play based learning. Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, rest time, and transitions. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and center policies. Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide high quality care and education. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working with young children is preferred. CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about working with children.
