Key Qualifications & Experience:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting strongly preferred Enthusiasm for supporting elementary-aged children Ability to work as part of a collaborative team with teachers and staff Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to assisting students with varying needs Reliable and punctual with a commitment to a full school-day schedule

Responsibilities Include:

Assisting the resource room teacher in implementing lesson plans and accommodations for grade 4/5 students Providing one-on-one or small group support to help students understand and complete classwork Supporting classroom management and helping maintain a positive learning environment in a Grade 2 room Supervising students in various activities, both in and outside the classroom Encouraging student engagement and fostering independence

Schedule Information:
