Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. If you have a love for working with children and are committed to their growth and development, we encourage you to apply.Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as literacy education, math, and childhood development
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Provide individualized attention to each child's needs and abilities
- Foster social skills and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children
