Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their educational journey. Duties:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as literacy education, math, and childhood development
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
  • Provide individualized attention to each child's needs and abilities
  • Foster social skills and emotional development through positive reinforcement and guidance
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
  • Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques for young children
