In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment to early childhood development will help inspire students to reach their full potential. As an Associate Teacher, you will collaborate closely with lead teachers, communicate effectively with parents, and ensure that classroom activities promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional growth, and behavioral management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while gaining valuable classroom experience. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies Supervise children during activities, recess, meals, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement Use educational technologies and computers to enhance learning experiences and support literacy and math development Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, behavior, and classroom events Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that complies with educational regulations and policies Qualifications Prior experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices, including special education and autism spectrum disorder strategies Strong classroom management skills and the ability to supervise children effectively Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and team members Join us as an Associate Teacher to ignite curiosity, foster growth, and create a joyful learning environment where every child can thrive!
