Full Job Description Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment for infants to 13 year-olds.
- Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment for the classroom.
- Assist in the maintenance of recordkeeping and reporting systems to ensure accurate information, with timely completion and follow-up.
- As needed, provide education services to children and families using virtual learning platforms as needed.
- This individual promotes and provides culturally competent client care and staff interactions that respond respectfully to the strengths and skills of diverse ethnicities, cultures, and other diversity-related factors.
- Support the learning experiences that advance the intellectual and physical development of children while establishing a safe, healthy, and organized learning environment.
- The Teacher provides leadership to staff and promotes a sense of agency with co-workers.
- They complete documentation and reports and always assure the safety of State and Federal compliance.

- Must have High school diploma
- Associate degree preferred with Early Childhood Credit
- 2 years of supervisory experience working in a classroom setting
- Must meet current Mosaic Early Learning Mandates
- Maintains First Aid and CPR certifications Experience
- Some experience preferred, Head Start/Teaching experience a plus. Preferred Experience
- Driver's License
- 2+ years of direct experience with children birth to 13 and their families
- 1+ year of Head Start experience.
