We are seeking a reliable, caring, and energetic Floater / Assistant Teacher to join our team. This position supports multiple classrooms throughout the day, including infants, toddlers, preschool, and before & after programs (ages 6 weeks - 4 years) . The ideal candidate enjoys working with children of different ages, is flexible, and is comfortable assisting teachers with daily classroom activities. Our center follows Creative Curriculum and is committed to maintaining high-quality standards as we work toward our goals within Grow NJ Kids . Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed Help supervise and engage children during play, learning activities, meals, and transitions Provide a nurturing and safe environment for all children Help with diapering, toileting, feeding, and general care routines Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Step into classrooms to provide coverage for breaks and transitions Interact positively with children to support their social, emotional, and developmental growth Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing regulations and center policies Support the center's quality improvement efforts through Grow NJ Kids Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred Must be dependable, flexible, and team-oriented Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work with children of varying ages throughout the day.
