Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Assist with classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional development, and overall childhood growth. Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions to ensure safety and positive behavior. Help manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies and classroom behavior management techniques. Collaborate with teachers on lesson planning, student assessments, and individualized support for students with disabilities or special needs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavioral updates, and developmental milestones. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with educational regulations and safety standards; assist with proofreading instructional materials as needed. Skills Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; familiarity with early childhood development principles. Strong understanding of special education practices, including experience working with students with autism or disabilities. Knowledge of literacy education, math instruction, classroom management strategies, and behavior management techniques. Ability to effectively supervise children while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment; first aid and CPR certification preferred. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and team members; mentoring abilities are a plus. Proficiency in using computers and educational technologies to enhance learning experiences. Understanding of educational compliance standards such as ESSA regulations and childhood education best practices; experience in private school environments is advantageous. Pay:
