Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Consistent Monday-Friday schedule School closure dates and holiday closures will be discussed during the interview PTO and time-off policies will also be discussed during the interview Responsibilities As a Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with children ages 2-3 years old , helping them feel safe, supported, and excited to come to school each day.

Responsibilities include:

Helping children establish and maintain consistent daily routines Supporting children as they develop independence and confidence Assisting with potty training and bathroom routines Changing diapers and assisting with other personal care needs Providing active supervision at all times Getting down on the children's level, playing, engaging, talking, reading, and participating in activities rather than simply watching from the sidelines Helping create a fun, positive, and welcoming classroom environment Working closely with your teaching team to delegate and complete classroom tasks Helping with classroom organization, cleaning, and daily routines Communicating respectfully and professionally with coworkers and families Following all school policies and maintaining a safe environment for the children Qualifications We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and dependable. Consistent attendance is extremely important because our classrooms depend on proper staffing ratios. Patient, caring, nurturing, and energetic Comfortable getting down on the floor and actively playing with children A team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed Comfortable with diaper changing and potty training Responsible and able to follow through with assigned tasks Positive, friendly, and professional Willing to learn and receive training on the job Excited about growing within the childcare field Previous childcare or classroom experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a genuine interest in working with children and is eager to learn. Pay Pay is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
