Reporting to the School Principal, we are seeking applicants who will be actively engaged and involved beyond the classroom as a member of a student-centered, STEAM-focused, dynamic school community. We currently have an opening for 2nd grade and 4th grade Instructional Assistants. Responsibilities included, but not limited to: Assisting classroom teachers in the instruction of language arts, mathematics, science and social studies Collaborating within a thematic-based curriculum that integrates the arts and technology Fostering the development of the whole child by guiding and supporting the social, emotional, physical, intellectual and ethical development of our students Serving on committees and assisting with supervision and education of students in all areas of campus Supervision of students during lunch & recess as well as arrival & dismissal The ideal candidate will also have: Experience with differentiated instruction, reading/writing instruction, using data to form instruction, flexible groupings and interactive instruction that is mindful of learning styles The ability to form collaborative and supportive working relationships with staff, families and students A growth mindset & strong ethical principles Ability to connect with & support student in their learning Excellent communication and classroom management skills An obvious passion for teaching children The ability to adapt activities for different learning styles and abilities

Qualifications:
