Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, particularly in a classroom setting, and possess strong communication skills. This role involves assisting educators in managing classroom activities, providing support to students, and ensuring a safe and engaging atmosphere for learning. Responsibilities Ensure children's safety at all times Assist Teachers during After school program Manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management strategies Communicate effectively with students and staff to address any concerns or conflicts. Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain a safe environment for all students. Educate students on various topics as directed by the teacher, including special education needs. Collaborate with the educational team to create an inclusive atmosphere for all learners. Experience Previous experience working with children or in childcare settings is preferred. Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques is a plus. Strong conflict management skills to effectively address student needs and concerns. Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with students of diverse backgrounds. Experience in preschool classroom settings is highly desirable, along with a passion for education and child development.
