The Marquee Buffet - Prep Cook / Line Cook The Marquee Buffet + Hot Pot in Astoria is hiring kitchen staff to join our team. Position Prep Cook / Line Cook Responsibilities Food preparation and basic kitchen prep Meat and vegetable preparation Line cooking, including grilling, sautéing, frying, and reheating Replenishing buffet items and maintaining food quality Preparing hot pot ingredients Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen Following food safety and sanitation standards Work Schedule 5 days per week Schedule will be 5 days between Tuesday and Sunday Full-time / Part-time may be available depending on position and experience Location The Marquee Astoria 25-22 Astoria Blvd Astoria, NY 11102 Qualifications Previous kitchen experience preferred Prep Cook or Line Cook experience preferred Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen Reliable and able to work well with a team Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation and food safety Korean BBQ or buffet experience is a plus Experience is preferred, but we are also open to candidates who are reliable, willing to learn, and looking for a long-term position.
