Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant educational team as an Assistant Teacher and play a vital role in nurturing young minds! In this dynamic position, you will support lead teachers in creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children across infants to preschool, and early childhood settings. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster curiosity, social skills, and foundational knowledge in children while ensuring their safety and well-being. Duties Assist lead teachers in designing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional learning. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior, promoting cooperation, and maintaining a safe environment for all children. Work directly with children to support their individual needs, including those with special education requirements or disabilities such as autism. Help facilitate activities that promote early childhood development, including toddler care, Montessori methods, or preschool routines. Aid in maintaining classroom organization, including preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and cleaning up after activities. Communicate effectively with children to foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and confidence. Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum enhancements and adapt instructional strategies for diverse learners. Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school environments is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Familiarity with special education practices, working with individuals with autism or disabilities, and inclusive teaching methods. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Ability to assist in lesson planning tailored to early childhood education standards. Experience with literacy education, and curriculum development is highly desirable. Passion for working with children of all abilities and backgrounds; patience and positive attitude are essential.
