Job Description
Teaching Assistants (NYS Teaching Assistant Certification Preferred) West Genesee Central School District has immediate and anticipated openings for part-time Special Education Teaching Assistants for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities include working with individual students or groups of students on instructional activities and tasks, and related work as required. This is a 6.5-hour-per-day, 10-month position. Job Qualifications Job Qualifications Possession of or willingness to pursue Teaching Assistant certification in New York State. Experience with children and some knowledge of childhood development. Demonstrates integrity, honesty, patience, and a lifelong commitment to learning.
