Job Description

Clean Harbors seeks a Class B Driver - Oil Sales and Service Rep I to safely transport, deliver, and collect oil and related materials for industrial and commercial customers. In this field-based role, you will operate Class B tanker trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. You'll provide on-site service, complete basic paperwork and electronic logs, and support customers with pickups, deliveries, and routine product handling, contributing to environmental protection and sustainable waste management. Responsibilities Operate Class B tanker trucks to transport oil and related materials safely Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs Load and unload oil products following all safety and environmental procedures Provide on-site service and support to industrial and commercial customers Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and service documentation and electronic logs Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures at all times Identify and communicate any spills, leaks, or safety hazards immediately Follow assigned routes and schedules while meeting service time expectations Coordinate with dispatch and supervisors to address service issues or delays Represent Clean Harbors professionally, upholding a safety-first and environmental focus Required Skills Class B CDL driving Tanker operation Hazmat handling Route planning Vehicle inspection Load securement Regulatory compliance (DOT/OSHA) Basic mechanical troubleshooting Customer service Electronic log systems (ELD)
