Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Childcare Educator to inspire and nurture young minds in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational space for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment and encouraging good behavior through effective behavior management strategies Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all children at all times Collaborate with colleagues and families to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Assist with diapering, feeding, and toddler care routines while fostering independence and self-care skills Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and any incidents or concerns Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Classroom experience managing young children's activities and behavior effectively Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a daycare or early learning environment Demonstrated ability to create engaging educational experiences tailored to different age groups Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, team members, and support staff Join us to help shape bright futures! Pay:
$17.55 - $19.55 per hour
