Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting the growth and learning of a preschool student as a Teacher's Aide/Teacher's Assistant. This position is located near Corning, NY, and runs from September 8, 2026, to June 18, 2027, offering consistent hours of 32.5 per week. Your primary responsibility will be providing dedicated 1:1 support to a preschool student, helping to create a nurturing, positive environment that fosters both social and academic development. Experience managing classroom behaviors is highly valued, as is comfort with personal care tasks, including assisting with diaper changes.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a paraprofessional, teacher's aide, or teacher's assistant, particularly in an early childhood or special education setting Familiarity with supporting students exhibiting behavioral needs Ability to maintain patience and positivity in a dynamic classroom environment Comfort with personal care tasks for young children Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
