Paraprofessional - Daytime Opportunities in the Eastport area

Daytime shifts ranging between 7:20 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Independent Contractor Position Overview:

Blue Sea is seeking dependable and compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students in K-12 school settings. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy working one-on-one with students, and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students each day.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one support to students with behavioral, emotional, developmental, or academic needs Support students with social skills, emotional regulation, and positive peer interactions Assist the classroom teacher with implementing the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) Assist with transitions throughout the school day, including classroom changes, lunch, specials, and dismissal Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and school staff to support student success Offer consistent positive reinforcement and build a supportive, trusting relationship with the student.

Requirements:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience working with children or in educational settings highly preferred Availability for daytime shifts in
