Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Facilitate a variety of youth group activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, tutoring sessions, and team-building exercises Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Assist with homework help and tutoring to support academic progress Implement first aid protocols when necessary, including administering basic first aid or CPR in emergencies Support children with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs), ensuring inclusive participation Maintain a clean and organized activity space, adhering to safety standards and program guidelines Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED operation (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong understanding of childhood development and age-appropriate activities Ability to work outdoors and participate in outdoor activities as part of the program Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, children, and parents Experience with special education or youth group activity facilitation is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead with enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children's growth through engaging activities and dedicated supervision.
