Job Description

We are hiring dedicated 1:1 Teacher Aides and Teacher Assistants for a summer school program in Elmira, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to work a consistent, part-time summer schedule while making a meaningful impact supporting students one-on-one.

Position Details:

July 6, 2026 - August 14, 2026

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM (~27.5 hours/week)

Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 support to assigned student(s) Assist with classroom activities and daily routines Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student success Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment

Qualifications:

Teacher Assistants:

Active New York State certification required

Aides:

Certification may not be required, but prior 1:1 experience is highly preferred Experience working with children or in a school setting strongly preferred Reliable, patient, and team-oriented This is a great opportunity for educators or those looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting over the summer!
