Bonus sick Full-time (1.0 FTE), 7-hour day, 10-month, school calendar position Collaborate with Cosmetology Instructors to maintain high-quality Career and Technical Education programs.
Assist with providing supervision, classroom management, and student support in classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning environments.
Assist students in developing technical, employability, and professional skills aligned with industry standards.
Assist in monitoring students' academic and technical skill progress, including attendance, classroom performance, and hands-on competencies.
Assist with implementing 504 Accommodation Plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
Assist with maintaining a safe, organized, and productive learning environment, including the proper use of equipment, tools, and materials.
Communicate and collaborate with instructors, administrators, parents, counselors, and other stakeholders to support student success.
Keep current with changes and developments in the Cosmetology Industry.

Job Qualifications Valid NYS Teaching Assistant Certification; must possess or be eligible to obtain at least a Level 1 Teaching Assistant Certificate Valid New York State Teaching Assistant Certification or eligibility to obtain at least a Level I Teaching Assistant Certificate.
Experience in Cosmetology is preferred.
New York State Cosmetology License required.
Experience working in a salon, spa, or related industry setting preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with secondary students in both classroom and hands-on learning environments.
