Maintain classroom organization, ensure compliance with educational regulations such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), and assist in preparing materials for daily activities. Requirements Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings or similar environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices, including working with individuals with autism or other disabilities. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members. Ability to supervise children safely while demonstrating patience and nurturing care. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Understanding of educational compliance standards and regulations relevant to preschool settings.
