At Care-A-Lot our goal is to create for all young children, a safe environment of love and learning through developmentally appropriate education. The teaching assistant will enjoy teaching children through play. The teaching assistant is responsible for direct care, and maintaining a clean environment while implementing daily curriculum. The position for teaching assistant offers opportunities for growth and advancement. The assistant teacher works under the direction of Lead Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate early education programming for young children.
Essential Job Functions:
The Assistant teacher helps teacher in preparing and implementing daily activities The Assistant teacher maintains cooperative relationships and clear, positive communication with staff, children, families, and support professionals The Assistant teacher provides personal care to children as needed The Assistant teacher ensures safety of children at all times and across all learning environments. The Assistant teacher maintains health and safety practices in accordance with state and local regulatory guidelines.Job Type:
