Duties Assist classroom teachers with implementing lesson plans Provide physical assistance and support for students Support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by helping meet their specific educational and behavioral needs Assist in classroom organization, including preparing materials, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting early childhood development activities such as toddler care and childcare routines Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, especially within special education or classroom support roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for students with special needs. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professional integrity. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, parents, and other stakeholders. Basic math skills and literacy education knowledge to support academic activities. Experience working with students who have disabilities or special education needs is highly preferred.
