Driving Success The City School District of New Rochelle is seeking a highly qualified candidate for a Level 1 Teaching Assistant Special Education position. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of tasks including: Engage with colleagues during staff training and learning opportunities Provide behavioral interventions as determined by BIPs Collect and input data collection for BIPs Support whole group, small group, and 1:1 instruction Work as a contributing member of a team Utilize appropriate behavior management techniques Perform all responsibilities in a manner that guarantees the safety of our students Assist in the arrival and dismissal of students Support the delivery of instruction using district-wide curriculum (for Life Skills Programs) Job Qualifications NYS Certification is required at time of application
