Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will engage with toddlers and young children through play-based learning, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a love for learning. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development. Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Facilitate engaging activities that encourage exploration and learning in a safe environment. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive behavior management techniques. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive team environment. Document children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development. Requirements Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Strong skills in behavior management and the ability to handle challenging situations calmly. Experience in caregiving or nannying is beneficial. Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to toddlers' needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children and parents. A genuine love for working with children and contributing positively to their growth.
