Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Paraprofessional or Teachers Aide experience, ideally in preschool or school settings NY Teachers Assistant Certification required for Assistant positions CNA credential or prior experience preferred for positions addressing medical needs Comfort and experience when working 1:1 with students with ASD or in multi-disabled classrooms Demonstrated ability to support students with medical needs, including those who use wheelchairs Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized support as a Teachers Aide or Assistant within specialized classrooms and ASD programs Deliver personal care and monitor medical needs for assigned students, ensuring comfort and safety Facilitate social and educational activities to promote engagement Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and communication regarding student progress Assist in classroom management and daily routines for an inclusive learning environment
