Overview Join our dynamic early childhood education team as a Lead Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Director, or Breakaide, where your passion for nurturing young minds will make a meaningful impact! In this role, you will create engaging learning environments, foster child development, and collaborate with families to support children's growth. Whether leading a classroom or assisting educators, you'll be instrumental in shaping positive educational experiences for children from infancy through preschool age. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional development. Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Engage in child development instruction to support early intervention and special education needs. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations such as first aid and CPR standards. Plan and execute lesson plans that incorporate childhood development principles and standardized testing when applicable. Support behavior management strategies to foster positive classroom behavior and social skills among children. Experience Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education practices, including toddler care and preschool teaching. Experience developing curricula that include literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and behavioral management techniques. Familiarity with classroom management tools and parent communication strategies. Knowledge of childhood development stages, special education accommodations, and early intervention programs. Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student populations, including those requiring additional support through special education services. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued.
