Job Description

Duties Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson planning, and instructional support to ensure a dynamic learning environment Support children's social, emotional, and developmental needs through attentive caregiving and behavior management strategies Help supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, mealtimes, nap times, and transitions to maintain safety and order Implement classroom routines and activities that foster early childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, infant care, and special education programs Provide first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all children Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance under supervision Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior reports, and developmental progress to support ongoing assessments Skills Experience working with children in preschool, daycare, nannying or babysitting roles; familiarity with early childhood education principles is highly valued Knowledge of childhood development milestones and best practices for working with individuals with disabilities or special needs Strong classroom management skills to promote positive behavior and engagement among young learners Ability to provide infant care, toddler care, and childcare in diverse settings while maintaining patience and compassion First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification promptly; understanding of health protocols for young children Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members Demonstrated ability to support behavior management strategies and create a nurturing environment that encourages growth This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to contribute to early childhood education while developing their professional expertise.
