Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childhood development and be committed to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves supporting lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom activities, and ensuring the well-being of students. Duties Assist in the planning and implementation of lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development. Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. Support classroom management by maintaining order and encouraging positive behavior among students. Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children. Collaborate with lead teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies as needed. Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns. Work effectively with children with disabilities, ensuring inclusivity within the classroom. Requirements A background in childhood development or related fields is preferred. Experience working with children is advantageous. Familiarity with classroom management strategies. Knowledge of literacy education practices and math instruction for early learners. Ability to create an engaging learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to professional development and continuous learning in educational practices.
