Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Description
Heartland Childcare Center is searching for additional strong assistant preschool teachers mornings and afternoons. The right candidates will be kind, compassionate, and detail oriented. Our Christian program is 5 Star Step Up To Quality rated. Assistant Teachers support the Lead Teacher by helping implement activity plans, interacting with children and their families in an appropriate respectful manner, obtaining and maintaining required training, actively supervising the children at all times, and carrying themselves with a high level of professionalism. Comfort working with technology is a must! Part Time, Monday through Friday. Minimum required at least 18 years old, High School graduate or equivalent, must be able to pass background and medical checks. Experience preferred with a CDA, Early Childhood degree, or CPL 2, but will train the right candidate.
