Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math, social skills, and emotional development. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, organized, and inclusive environment for all students. Engage children in activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and learning through play. Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special education requirements. Help monitor children's behavior and implement positive behavior management strategies to foster respectful interactions. Support daily routines such as snack time, bathroom breaks, nap time, and transitions between activities. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the classroom environment at all times. Experience Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early learning standards. Experience supporting children with special needs or behavioral challenges is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members. Previous roles involving childcare or educational support roles that showcase patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for working with children are highly valued.
