Job Description

Before-School Program & PE Teacher's Aide Covenant Community School is looking for dependable, caring, and energetic individuals to help support our students in two part-time roles. These positions may be filled by one person who is available for both schedules or by two separate people. Before-School Program Monday-Friday | 7:00-8:30 AM Responsibilities include: Supervising students before the school day begins Providing a safe, positive, and welcoming environment Helping students with appropriate activities and interactions Encouraging respectful behavior and following school expectations Assisting with basic classroom organization and preparation as needed Supervising breakfast PE Teacher's Aide Monday-Wednesday & Friday | 1:50-3:30 PM Responsibilities include: Assisting the PE teacher during classes and activities Helping supervise students and maintain a safe environment Assisting with PE equipment setup and cleanup Helping students follow directions and participate appropriately Providing additional support to students during activities Working cooperatively with the PE teacher and school staff Qualifications Enjoys working with children Patient, dependable, and responsible Able to provide appropriate student supervision Works well with teachers and other staff Able to maintain positive classroom expectations Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required Must be willing to support the Christian mission and values of Covenant Community School Applicants may apply for either position individually or for both positions. The schedules may be combined for one employee or filled as two separate part-time positions.
